ADVANCED OLED PROTECTION CUSTOM HEATSINK AND IMPROVED AIRFLOW DESIGNInside the Swift OLED PG27AQDM lies a custom heatsink and an internal component layout designed to draw heat away from the OLED panel to minimize the likelihood of image burn-in. Thanks to these features and a large top air vent, PG27AQDM is able to dissipate heat more efficiently, so it operates at 5% lower average temperatures compared to other 27-inch OLED gaming monitors, yet it also boasts a 17%* increase in brightness compared to the previous generation OLED panel. *Compared to ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ, tested with a 6500K 100% window size. The Swift OLED PG27AQDM uses a smart algorithm coded for the panel to optimize the voltage applied to each individual pixel, based on the monitor’s temperature. This maintains uniformity across the OLED panel and helps to protect it from burn-in. A special matte micro-texture coating on the surface of the display significantly reduces glare. This allows the PG27AQDM to display more accurate colors, free of distracting screen glare. |
