Pulsar Superglide 3 Type-S – Glass Gaming Mousepad

Pulsar Superglide 3 Type-S is a thin glass mousepad built around a speed-oriented surface. It pairs a refined aluminosilicate glass layer with a full silicone base for players who want a firm, consistent platform for broad movements and small corrections.

Type-S means Speed. Choose the listed L or XL size and colour to fit your desk; the firm glass feel is different from a cushioned cloth pad, so allow time to adjust your stopping technique and skate combination.

Explore the Features

Pulsar Superglide 3 Type-S glass gaming surface

FEATURE 01

Type-S Speed Surface

The refined glass texture is tuned toward a fast glide. It suits players who prefer less resistance, but it still requires deliberate stopping technique; a faster surface is a preference, not a guarantee of better aim.

FEATURE 02

Thin Aluminosilicate Glass

A 1.5mm glass layer reduces the raised edge compared with a thicker hard pad. The rigid surface stays firm under the mouse instead of compressing like a soft cloth base.

FEATURE 03

Full Silicone Support

A moulded high-density silicone layer supports the underside. Place it on a clean, flat desk so the base can grip evenly and the glass is properly supported.

FEATURE 04

Rounded Edges and Corners

Rounded finishing makes the perimeter more comfortable where your hand or forearm approaches the edge. Leave enough desk space to use the full surface without reaching past it.

FEATURE 05

L and XL Desk Options

L measures 420 × 330mm; XL measures 490 × 420mm. Choose around your actual sweep range and keyboard position, not only the label on the size selector.

FEATURE 06

Included UHMW-PE Dot Skates

The package includes 16 dots measuring 6.6mm. Their material is intended for use with the glass surface; changing the number of contact points also changes the way the mouse feels.

FEATURE 07

A Surface You Can Wipe Clean

Dust or grit can become noticeable between skates and glass. Clean the surface and mouse feet regularly so a small particle does not interrupt a movement.

FEATURE 08

Sleeve and Skate Pairing

A suitable sleeve can reduce skin drag for users whose arm contacts the pad. Use compatible PTFE or the supplied UHMW-PE skates; avoid glass skates on a glass pad.

Fine-Tune the Contact Points

The Pulsar eS Finger Glove covers the hand-contact area, while the eS Arm Short covers more of the forearm. With a mouse such as the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, test the pad, feet and sleeve as a combination before making large sensitivity changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Type-S a control surface?

Type-S is the Speed version. It is intended for a faster glass glide rather than a control-focused cloth feel.

Which sizes are offered here?

The listing offers L at 420 × 330mm and XL at 490 × 420mm. Select the required size and colour combination.

Can I use glass mouse skates?

Avoid glass-on-glass pairing. Use compatible PTFE feet or the supplied UHMW-PE dots.

Are dot skates included?

Yes. Pulsar lists 16 UHMW-PE dots, each 6.6mm in diameter.

Do I need a gaming sleeve?

It is optional. A sleeve can be helpful if your skin drags on the glass surface.

Is the pad soft?

No. It is a firm glass pad with a silicone base, not a compressible cloth mousepad.
