A frequency response of 22Hz to 17.5kHz covers deep bass, clear vocals, and detailed high frequencies for an enjoyable everyday listening experience.

Shure developed the SE215 using experience gained from creating monitoring equipment for musicians and professional performers.

Blocks Up to 37dB of Outside Noise

Sound Isolating technology creates a secure acoustic seal inside the ear, helping block up to 37dB of ambient noise. This allows you to hear more detail with fewer distractions during commuting, travel, exercise, or stage monitoring.

The included Fit Kit provides different sleeve sizes, helping users find the combination that offers the best comfort, stability, and isolation.

Unlike electronic Active Noise Cancellation, the SE215 reduces outside sound through its physical in-ear seal and correctly fitted sleeves.

3.5mm Communication Cable

This version includes a universal 3.5mm communication cable with an in-line microphone and three-button controls for compatible devices. It can be connected to phones, tablets, laptops, controllers, and audio equipment fitted with a compatible 3.5mm port.

The SE215 is a wired earphone and does not use a USB Type-C connector. Devices without a 3.5mm audio port may require a compatible adapter sold separately.

Its MMCX connection allows the cable to rotate through 360 degrees while keeping the earphones securely connected.

The lightweight, low-profile housing uses an optimized nozzle angle for a comfortable in-ear fit. Its over-ear cable configuration helps keep the cable secure and out of the way.

Does the Shure SE215 use AUX or USB Type-C?

The Shure SE215 uses a standard 3.5mm AUX audio connection. It does not connect directly through USB Type-C.

Does it include a microphone?

Yes. The included communication cable has an in-line microphone and controls for compatible devices.

Does the SE215 have Active Noise Cancellation?

No. It uses passive Sound Isolating technology and correctly fitted sleeves to block up to 37dB of surrounding noise.

Can the cable be replaced?

Yes. The cable is detachable and connects through Shure’s MMCX system, allowing compatible replacement cables and accessories to be used.

Can it connect to a phone without a headphone jack?

A compatible USB Type-C or Lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter may be required if the phone does not include a headphone jack.
