Wooting 60HE v2 Aluminium 60% Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard

Wooting 60HE v2 Aluminium: More Mouse Room, Precise Key Control

The Wooting 60HE v2 Aluminium combines a compact 60% layout with Lekker Tikken Medium magnetic switches. Adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger let you tune how a key activates and resets, while the aluminium case, FR4 plate and layered dampening shape the physical typing experience.

This listing covers the available Black and Bright Silver configurations shown in the selectors. Check both the colour and ANSI or ANSI Split layout before ordering; a product photo does not replace the selected configuration.

FEATURE 01

Movement-Based Reset

Rapid Trigger responds to release movement rather than waiting for a fixed mechanical reset point. Use conservative settings while learning the feel, then tune individual keys where useful.

FEATURE 02

Compact Desk Footprint

The 60% format leaves more clear desk width for broad mouse movements. Dedicated function and navigation keys move to layers, so consider how often you need those keys outside gaming.

FEATURE 03

A Different Physical Build

Tikken switches, an FR4 plate and the aluminium enclosure distinguish this model from the older 60HE. Choose it for both its input controls and its particular construction.

Choose Your Layout Before Your Colour

ANSI and ANSI Split configurations differ physically at the spacebar area. Check the option name and corresponding images so the key arrangement matches your preference. The available combinations are controlled by the product selectors.

If dedicated arrows and a function row are essential, compare the Wooting 80HE PCR Black. Its larger layout and L60 v2 switches are a different package; it is not simply the same 60HE v2 with extra keys.

Set Up a Profile You Can Actually Use

Start in Wootility with a normal typing profile, then create a separate gaming profile. Assign more sensitive actuation only where you need it rather than making every key easy to trigger accidentally. The keyboard stores four onboard profiles.

Dynamic Keystroke and Rappy Snappy provide additional input options. Game support and competition rules can differ, so review the rules for the game or event before enabling advanced input behaviour.

Complete the Mouse Side of Your Desk

The space saved by a 60% board is useful only if the rest of the desk fits. Compare the ARTISAN ZERO and Type-99 SOFT XL by surface feel and dimensions. For a coordinated input setup, review the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE and its independently adjustable click controls.
