Set the Actuation Point Around Your Play Style

Choose an actuation point from 0.1 to 3.5 mm, adjustable in 0.01 mm steps. Use a shallow setting for frequently tapped gaming keys or a deeper setting where you prefer more deliberate presses.

The linear HFX V2 switches work with the ROG Hall Sensor to track key travel. Hot-swap support lets you use compatible ROG HE magnetic switches when you want to change the feel.

Rapid Trigger

Keys reset as they move upward, allowing another input without waiting to pass a fixed reset point.

Speed Tap

Prioritize the latest input when two assigned keys are pressed. Speed Tap is disabled by default; check your game's rules before enabling it.

8K Polling, With or Without the Cable

ROG SpeedNova supports up to 8,000 Hz over 2.4 GHz wireless, matching the keyboard's maximum USB polling rate without a separate polling booster. Bluetooth provides another connection option, with support for up to five devices across the available modes.

At 8,000 Hz, the reporting interval is 0.125 ms. This describes polling frequency, not total system latency. Bluetooth does not support 8,000 Hz polling.

Useful Controls Within Reach

The 1.47-inch OLED touchscreen puts keyboard status and settings beside the number pad. Use touch controls, the three-way knob and side button to navigate functions, including actuation and trigger sensitivity adjustments.

Zone Mode Focuses on Your Gaming Keys

Zone Mode disables features such as RGB lighting and assigns selected gaming keys an 8,000 Hz polling rate by default, while other keys run at 250 Hz. Per-key polling settings let you adjust this behavior.

A Cushioned Typing Feel

The gasket mount works with six damping layers: four PORON layers, one IXPE pad and one silicone pad. Two removable PORON layers allow changes to the gasket feel, while the metal top cover gives the keyboard a solid finish.

Tune Your Keyboard in Gear Link

Customize key assignments, actuation settings and lighting through the browser-based Gear Link interface. Connect by USB or a 2.4 GHz receiver and use Chrome, Edge or Opera.

Per-key RGB lets you personalize the keyboard's lighting. Aura Sync synchronization requires Armoury Crate. Gear Link configuration is not supported over Bluetooth.

Does it support 8,000 Hz over wireless?

Yes. Wired USB and 2.4 GHz ROG SpeedNova connections support up to 8,000 Hz without a separate polling booster. Bluetooth does not support 8,000 Hz.

What does Rapid Trigger do?

Gear Link requires USB or a 2.4 GHz receiver connection for configuration. Use Chrome, Edge or Opera, then switch back to Bluetooth after setup.
