GREEN SCREENS AT AX

A clean key in any room.

Shop backdrops and green screens in Kuwait from Elgato and VALIDO: collapsible chroma key panels and self-standing green screens that give your camera a clean background to key out.

How to choose a green screen

  • Size: the screen should fill everything behind you in frame, including when you lean or move.
  • Collapsible or self-standing: a collapsible panel sits behind your chair and packs away after the stream; a self-standing frame suits wider shots and rooms with no mounting point.
  • Lighting: light the screen evenly and separately from your face for a cleaner key.

BACKDROPS AND GREEN SCREENS FAQ

Before you buy.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most about backdrops and green screens.

Why do streamers use a green screen?

A green screen lets streaming software remove your background cleanly with chroma key, so you can replace it with gameplay, graphics or a solid color. It gives a sharper cut-out than software background removal, especially around hair and quick movements.

Collapsible panel or fabric green screen: which should I choose?

A collapsible panel sets up and packs away quickly behind your chair and keeps a smooth surface. Fabric screens cover a wider area for full-body or wider shots, but need to be stretched or steamed to remove wrinkles.

How do I get a clean chroma key result?

Light the green screen evenly and separately from yourself so there are no dark patches or shadows, and sit a little away from it to avoid green light spilling onto you. Avoid wearing green, and fine-tune the chroma key filter in OBS or your streaming software.

How big should my green screen be?

It should fill the camera frame at your usual position. For a seated webcam stream, a panel behind your chair is usually enough, while standing shots, wider camera angles or moving around call for a larger backdrop such as a 1.5 x 2.0 m fabric screen.
