LIFX AT AX
LIFX Wi-Fi smart lighting: the LIFX Lightstrip 2m, the LIFX Z Starter Kit 2m with LIFX Z Extension 1m pieces, and the LIFX Mini E27 smart bulb. Every light connects straight to your home Wi-Fi and runs in the LIFX app, with no bridge in between.
For desk and wall glow behind a setup, start with a strip: the Lightstrip is the newer 2m option, while LIFX Z can be lengthened with its own extensions. Use the Mini E27 in a standard lamp or ceiling socket, then group strips and bulbs into one scene.

LIFX FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we hear most about LIFX smart lighting.
No. LIFX lights such as the LIFX Mini E27 bulb and the LIFX Lightstrip connect directly to your home Wi-Fi and are controlled in the LIFX app, so no separate bridge is needed. Make sure your router offers a 2.4GHz network during setup.
LIFX Z is the earlier strip system, sold as a 2m Starter Kit that can be lengthened with LIFX Z Extension 1m pieces. The LIFX Lightstrip is the newer 2m strip in the same app. Extensions are made for their own system, so match a LIFX Z Extension with a LIFX Z Starter Kit.
The LIFX Mini E27 uses an E27 screw base, a common standard socket for lamps and ceiling fittings. Check your fitting before buying, since GU10 spotlights and smaller E14 sockets need different bulbs.
Yes. In the LIFX app you can group lights, save scenes and set schedules, for example a calm evening scene and a brighter one for work. Strips and bulbs can be grouped together so one tap changes the whole room.
