Keep aiming aids visible.

Dynamic Crosshair changes the reticle colour to contrast with the scene. GamePlus adds tools including a timer, FPS counter and display alignment, while Shadow Boost helps reveal details in darker areas without adjusting your game files.

Tilt the screen or use VESA.

The included stand tilts from -5° to +23° and has a fixed height. For a more adjustable position, the monitor supports a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount and weighs approximately 2.8 kg without its stand.

Two HDMI inputs, DisplayPort and built-in audio.

ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5A provides two HDMI 2.0 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 input with HBR2 bandwidth. ASUS lists a 48–200 Hz vertical signal range for both connection types. Two integrated 2 W speakers handle everyday sound, and an earphone jack gives you another audio option. The rear panel also carries the control buttons, VESA mounting points and Kensington lock slot, keeping the connections together behind the display.

What resolution and refresh rate does ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5A support?

It has a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 and a maximum refresh rate of 200 Hz. ASUS specifies a 48–200 Hz vertical signal range through both DisplayPort and HDMI; your connected device must support the selected output mode.

Is the response time 0.3 ms or 1 ms?

ASUS specifies 1 ms grey-to-grey response time and 0.3 ms as the minimum. These figures describe pixel transitions and should not be read as a measurement of total input lag.

Can the monitor be mounted on an arm?

Yes. Use a mount with a 100 × 100 mm VESA pattern whose load range includes the monitor's approximately 2.8 kg weight without the stand. The supplied stand provides tilt adjustment but no height adjustment.

Does it include speakers and a DisplayPort cable?

Yes. The monitor has two built-in 2 W speakers and an earphone jack. ASUS lists a DisplayPort cable, power cord, L-shaped screwdriver, quick start guide and warranty card among the accessories, which can vary by region.
