Choose the LED Density

This product offers 30 LEDs per metre and 60 LEDs per metre as separate model variations. The density describes how many light points run along each metre of the strip. Choose the required variation for the intended installation and keep the selected density in mind when planning the appearance of the finished lighting.

A Two-Metre Starting Length

The starter strip measures two metres, providing a defined length for a desk, shelf or other suitable lighting route. Measure the intended path and allow room for the controller and USB power connection. Test the strip before fixing it in place, then follow the fitting guidance for the chosen arrangement.

Edit the LED Colour Effect

Cololight supports editing individual light-bead effects through its app, allowing colours to vary along the strip. Plan an effect around the shape of the installation rather than treating the entire route as one fixed colour. A different colour arrangement can change the look of the space without moving the strip itself.

Controller and App Operation

The supplied controller provides local operation, while the Cololight app offers lighting adjustments from a compatible phone. Set up the strip on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and follow its pairing process. Keep the controller accessible when arranging the final cable route so it remains useful after installation.

Alexa and Google Assistant Options

Supported Alexa and Google Assistant connections provide voice-control options after setup. Follow the Cololight integration guidance for the selected platform and complete the relevant account connection. This gives the lighting another control method alongside the app and the physical controller already included in the starter arrangement.
