InnoGear offers a standard Microphone Arm Stand with an adjustable desk clip and a smaller adjustable boom arm. The small arm suits lighter mics and compact desks, while the standard arm gives more reach when the mic needs to sit further from the clamp.
Check your microphone's weight against the arm's rated load, since heavy broadcast mics can make light arms droop. Most mics attach with a standard 5/8 inch thread, and a simple adapter covers 3/8 inch mounts.
Clamp the arm to a solid desk edge that fits within the clamp's range, and place it to the side of your monitor so the mic can swing in front of you. Route the cable along the arm to keep the setup tidy and stop it snagging.
