RAZER FAQ
Before you buy.
Straight answers to the questions we hear most about Razer mice, keyboards and audio gear.
DeathAdder or Viper: which Razer mouse shape should I choose?
The DeathAdder line, including the DeathAdder V3 Pro and DeathAdder V4 Pro, has an ergonomic right-handed shape that suits palm and relaxed claw grips. The Viper line, such as the Viper V3 Pro and Viper Ultimate, is symmetrical and lower, which many claw and fingertip players prefer.
Do I need a large mouse pad like the Gigantus V2?
An extra large pad like the Gigantus V2 leaves room for a full keyboard and wide arm movements, which helps if you play at low sensitivity. Its soft cloth surface suits controlled aiming and pairs well with light wireless mice such as the Viper V3 Pro.
Which software do Razer products use?
Razer mice, keyboards and headsets are configured in Razer Synapse, which handles DPI, button mapping, macros, lighting and firmware updates. Razer Chroma RGB lighting can be synced across compatible devices, such as a BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard and a DeathAdder mouse.
What does the BlackWidow V4 Pro add over a standard keyboard?
The BlackWidow V4 Pro is a full-size mechanical keyboard with dedicated macro keys, a command dial and media controls, which suits players who also stream or edit on the same PC. It connects by cable, so there is no battery to manage.
