What does 80 PLUS Gold mean?
80 PLUS ratings measure how efficiently a power supply converts wall power, and Gold sits above Bronze and below Platinum and Titanium. A more efficient unit wastes less energy as heat, which helps it run cooler and quieter.
What should I check before installing a new power supply?
