SYNTECH FAQ

Before you buy.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most about Syntech USB adapters.

What does the Syntech USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter do?

It lets you plug a regular USB-A device, such as a flash drive, mouse receiver or keyboard, into a USB-C port on a laptop, tablet or phone. The pack includes two adapters, so you can keep one in your bag and one at your desk.

Will the adapter keep USB 3.0 speeds?

Yes, when both the port and the device support USB 3.0 or faster, the adapter passes data at USB 3.0 speeds. Older USB 2.0 devices still work, at their own slower speed.

Does it work with phones and tablets?

Most USB-C phones and tablets support USB-A accessories through an adapter like this, using a feature called USB OTG. Check that your device supports OTG and that the accessory does not need more power than the port can supply.
