Wireless Charging for a Compatible Qi Phone

Use the charger with a phone that supports the required Qi wireless charging function. A wireless charging receiver must be built into or otherwise appropriately supported by the phone; a standard cable-only charging socket does not add that capability. Check the phone’s own wireless charging specifications when planning the setup.

The maximum power listed for this charger is fifteen watts. Anker’s guidance explains that the phone and charger must support the same fast-wireless-charging technology. Different phones can use different charging rates, so a fifteen-watt product rating should not be treated as a guarantee that every connected phone charges at that rate.

Match the Required Power Source

The wireless charger needs an appropriate supply and lead for its actual input connection. Follow the supplied charger’s model instructions and power markings when selecting them. A physically different cable, an incompatible adapter or an insufficient source can prevent the intended charging arrangement, even when the phone supports wireless charging.

Align the Phone with the Charging Area

Position the phone correctly over the charger’s intended charging area and check the phone’s charging indication. Coil alignment and the way the phone sits on the unit affect operation. Use the product’s own positioning instructions, then confirm the phone remains in the intended position during normal desk or bedside use.

Check the Phone Case and Accessories
