This configuration has a 10-core GPU, hardware-accelerated ray tracing and 120GB/s of memory bandwidth. A 16-core Neural Engine supports machine learning tasks in compatible software, extending the platform beyond conventional CPU processing.
A Clear View of Your Work
The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display uses LED backlighting and IPS technology, presenting a 2560 × 1664 native resolution. Its 500-nit brightness, wide P3 colour gamut and True Tone give documents, photos and media a detailed presentation. Support for one billion colours adds depth to compatible content, while the rounded display corners give the screen its distinctive shape.
Keep Your Applications and Files Together
With 24 GB of unified memory and a 512 GB SSD, this configuration provides a shared memory pool for applications and local storage for project files, documents and media. Match these capacities to your daily working needs and the files you plan to keep on the computer. Actual formatted storage capacity is lower than the stated capacity. Dedicated media engines accelerate H.264, HEVC, ProRes and ProRes RAW, with AV1 decoding for compatible content.
Connect Your Desk and Accessories
Two Thunderbolt 4 ports support charging, DisplayPort and compatible connections up to 40Gb/s. MagSafe 3 provides a separate charging connection, keeping the USB-C ports available for other devices. Connect up to two external 6K displays at 60Hz alongside the built-in display. Wi-Fi 6E, where supported, and Bluetooth 5.3 support wireless networks and accessories, while the 3.5mm headphone jack offers a wired audio connection.
Take Your Workspace Along
At approximately 1.24kg, this MacBook Air fits a routine that moves between desks, meetings and study spaces. Apple lists up to 18 hours of video streaming or up to 15 hours of wireless web under its reference test conditions. Battery life varies by use and configuration, so actual results depend on your workload, settings and applications.
