Build Around Apple Silicon
The Apple M4 chip brings 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU into one platform for your applications. A 16-core Neural Engine supports machine learning tasks in compatible software, while 120GB/s of memory bandwidth supports data movement across the chip. This combination gives productivity and creative workflows a capable foundation. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing adds dedicated support for compatible graphics workloads.
See Your Projects in Detail
The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR screen presents a 3024 × 1964 native resolution at 254 pixels per inch. Wide P3 colour, one billion colours and True Tone support a detailed view of documents, photos and video. ProMotion adapts the refresh rate up to 120Hz, while HDR brightness reaches 1000 nits sustained full-screen and 1600 nits peak below 25°C.
Keep Applications and Media Ready
This configuration provides 24 GB of unified memory and a 1 TB SSD for applications, current projects and local files. Hardware acceleration supports H.264, HEVC, ProRes and ProRes RAW, with dedicated video decode, encode and ProRes processing resources. These specialised engines help compatible media applications handle playback, editing and export tasks. Actual formatted storage capacity is lower than the stated capacity. AV1 decoding supports compatible video playback.
Connect a Flexible Workspace
Three Thunderbolt 4 ports support charging, DisplayPort and compatible data connections up to 40Gb/s. HDMI, an SDXC card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack provide direct connections for displays, memory cards and audio equipment. Apple M4 supports up to 2 external displays, subject to the resolution and connection limits in the specifications. MagSafe 3 keeps a dedicated charging connection available.
Work Between Desks and Meetings
With an approximately 1.55kg enclosure, this MacBook Pro brings your working environment with you. Apple lists up to 24 hours of video streaming and 16 hours of wireless web browsing under its reference test conditions. Battery life varies with use and configuration, so results depend on your workload, settings and applications. A USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable is included.
Communicate and Stay in Control
The 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View and 1080p HD video recording supports video conversations, complemented by a studio-quality three-mic array.
