A headset built around your setup

40 mm drivers sit in an open-back design with cloth cushions. The swappable unidirectional boom microphone and magnetic speaker tags offer a flexible fit and appearance.

Control your audio mix

Use the MixAmp to balance game and chat audio, then personalise settings in ASTRO Command Center. This edition supports Xbox and PC/Mac; the optional A40 Mod Kit is sold separately.

Set Up Your Voice Chat

The microphone arrangement is 6 mm unidirectional boom. Position the microphone as described for your headset and check your input level in the game or chat application before joining a session with other players.

Match the Connection to Your Setup

The listed connection arrangement is 3.5 mm. Check the audio and microphone sockets on your device before connecting the headset, keeping any supplied adapters and the stated cable or receiver requirements with your setup.

Choose the Supported Platform and Mode

The listed platform support is Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Mac. Match your connection to the device you intend to use, and check any receiver, adapter or setup requirements. Compatibility with one connection does not automatically cover every wireless mode or software feature.

Keep Software Features with Their Requirements

The stated software or processing feature is ASTRO Command Center. Use the supported setup for those functions, keeping software-based surround or personalisation separate from the headset’s basic playback and microphone functions when connecting to another device.

Plan the Platform and Chat Connection

Choose the exact platform version and check whether its connection uses USB, a wireless receiver or an analogue headset socket. Set the playback and microphone devices deliberately in your game or chat application. Compare related options such as ASTRO A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset or ASTRO A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset and Base Station – Mars Red, keeping the exact model and configuration in the decision. For the wider setup, explore Shure SM7dB Dynamic Vocal Microphone with Built-in Preamp and check the connection, size or mounting requirements before pairing accessories.
