The RTX 5080 supports ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS with Multi Frame Generation in compatible games. NVIDIA Reflex also helps reduce system latency in supported titles, giving you another way to tune the experience around responsiveness.

DUAL BIOS AND FAN CONTROL

Choose your balance of cooling and noise

Performance mode prioritizes cooling, while Quiet mode uses a gentler fan curve at moderate temperatures. Quiet mode retains the same power target and top-end settings.

Two FanConnect II headers also let compatible case fans respond to CPU and GPU temperatures. This gives you a way to coordinate case airflow with the components doing the work.

METAL CONSTRUCTION

Support for a substantial graphics card

The metal frame, shroud and backplate reinforce the card. ASUS also includes a ROG graphics card holder to support the installation.

Plan the layout before fitting the card. Check front-radiator clearance, access to motherboard connectors and the expansion slots you want to keep available.

GPU TWEAK III AND AURA SYNC

See how it runs and choose how it looks

GPU Tweak III provides performance tuning and monitoring. Its Thermal Map shows temperatures across monitored areas of the card, while Power Detector+ can flag irregularities in the power connection.

Indirect Aura Sync ARGB lighting lets you coordinate colors and effects with compatible components. Choose a restrained glow or match the lighting to the rest of your build.

CREATING AND STREAMING

Keep working after the gaming session

NVIDIA Studio supports GPU acceleration in compatible editing, rendering and design applications. Two ninth-generation NVIDIA encoders and AV1 support provide options for supported video workflows.

NVIDIA Broadcast adds tools such as background-noise removal and video-background effects. Software support determines which features you can use in your recording, streaming or creative setup.

What power supply does it need?

ASUS recommends an 850W system power supply. The card uses one 16-pin power connector; select the final PSU capacity and compatible cable around your complete build.

Will it fit inside my case?

The card measures 357.6 × 149.3 × 76 mm and uses a 3.8-slot design. Check clearance for its length, thickness and power cable, including any installed front radiator.

Can all five display outputs run simultaneously?

No. There are five physical display outputs, with a maximum of four displays active at the same time.

What clock settings does the OC edition offer?

ASUS lists a default boost clock of 2760 MHz and an OC mode setting of 2790 MHz. Actual operating clocks vary with workload and conditions.

Does Multi Frame Generation work in every game?

No. DLSS features depend on game and software support. Check the graphics options available in each title.
