NVIDIA BLACKWELL AND DLSS
Find your balance of detail and speed
The RTX 5060 supports ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS with Multi Frame Generation in compatible games. These give you options for more detailed lighting and smoother displayed motion, while NVIDIA Reflex helps reduce system latency in supported titles.
Start with settings that suit your monitor, then adjust image quality and frame generation for each game. Results depend on the title, resolution and the rest of your PC.
AXIAL-TECH COOLING
Airflow when the workload increases
Three Axial-tech fans move air through the heatsink, supported by dual-ball bearings. When the GPU is cool enough, the fans stop for quieter operation during light tasks.
Give the cooler room to breathe when planning your build. Clear intake space and sensible cable routing help the card work with your case airflow.
DUAL BIOS
Choose the mode that suits your desk
Dual BIOS provides Quiet and Performance modes. Choose a starting point that matches how you use your computer and your preference for fan noise.
Compare the modes in a game you play regularly. Your case ventilation, room temperature and distance from the PC all affect what feels comfortable at your desk.
STREAMING AND CREATIVE WORK
Keep creating after the game ends
The ninth-generation NVIDIA encoder supports AV1 encoding for compatible recording and streaming software. NVIDIA Studio also brings GPU acceleration to supported editing, rendering and design applications.
That gives a gaming desktop more uses between sessions, from capturing clips to editing a finished video. Check your application and streaming platform for the formats and features they support.
DISPLAY CONNECTIONS
Make room for another screen
Three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b output support up to four displays. Keep your game on the main screen while placing chat, reference material or editing controls on another.
Match the connection and cable to your monitor’s resolution and refresh rate. Available display modes depend on the complete connection, including the monitor itself.
GPU TWEAK III AND ARGB
Adjust the settings and finish the look
ASUS GPU Tweak III provides monitoring and tuning controls. Aura-compatible ARGB lighting lets you coordinate the card’s lighting with supported components.
Begin with the default settings and change one option at a time. It is easier to judge an adjustment when you can compare it with a familiar game or workload.
CONSTRUCTION AND CASE FIT
Plan the space around your card
An aluminum backplate and diecast shroud reinforce the card, with large vents for airflow. The card measures 302 × 133.5 × 62 mm and uses a 3.1-slot design.
Check GPU clearance with your front fans or radiator installed. Leave space for the power cable and consider whether the cooler will cover any expansion slots you need.
BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
A few useful answers
What power supply does it need?
ASUS recommends a 550W system power supply. The card uses one 8-pin PCIe power connector; your final PSU choice should account for the entire PC.
Will it fit inside my case?
Compare its 302 mm length and 3.1-slot thickness with your case clearance, allowing additional room for nearby cooling hardware and the power cable.
Is it normal for the fans to stop?
Yes. The fans can remain stopped when the GPU is cool, then restart as temperatures rise.
Does Multi Frame Generation work in every game?
No. DLSS features require support in the game or compatible software. Available options vary by title.
What are the default and OC clock settings?
ASUS lists a default boost clock of 2640 MHz and an OC mode setting of 2677 MHz. Actual operating clocks vary with workload and conditions.
