Dedicated conversion and amplification
A PCM5102 DAC works with an LMH6643 amplifier and OPA1662 low-pass filter. USB playback supports up to 24-bit/96kHz PCM, making the E10K a straightforward choice for everyday music listening.
Match the output to your headphones
The 3.5 mm headphone output delivers 200 mW at 32 ohms under the specified test conditions. Choose low or high gain, then use the bass switch when you want a stronger low-frequency balance.
Connect headphones or another audio system
Alongside the headphone jack, the E10K provides a separate 3.5 mm line output and coaxial digital output. This original model uses micro-USB for audio and power; it is distinct from the later E10K Type-C.

This is the original E10K / OLYMPUS2 with a micro-USB input and UAC 1.0 operation. It is a different version from E10K-TC. Connect it to an appropriate computer USB source and use the original model’s decoding specification when comparing versions.
Gain and Bass, Chosen by You
Low gain is listed at 1.6 dB and high gain at 8.8 dB, with a separate bass-boost switch and ALPS volume control. Start at a low listening level, choose gain around the headphone’s sensitivity, then use the bass option only when it suits your recording and preference.
Small, USB-Powered and Ready for the Desk
The aluminium-alloy unit weighs 78 g and uses a recommended USB 5 V / 500 mA supply, with no battery to recharge. FiiO recommends a 16–150-ohm headphone load. Impedance is only one part of matching a headphone; its sensitivity and your listening level also matter.

Is this the USB-C E10K-TC?
No. This is the original E10K / OLYMPUS2 with micro-USB input. Its version-specific PCM5102 and 24-bit/96 kHz specifications are retained here.
Does it support DSD?
No DSD support is listed for this original model. USB playback supports PCM up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
Which headphones should I use?
FiiO recommends a 16–150-ohm load. Use the 3.5 mm single-ended headphone output, start with low gain and check sensitivity as well as impedance.
Are the coaxial and line sockets inputs?
No. The coaxial socket is a digital output and the separate 3.5 mm line socket is an analogue output. The audio input is micro-USB.
Does it need a battery or separate mains adapter?
It has no battery. The recommended supply is USB 5 V / 500 mA from a suitable connected source.
Can it connect to passive speakers?
The line output needs a receiving amplifier or powered speakers. It does not provide speaker-level power for passive speakers.
