Classic Spider-Man Style in a Flexible Kids Frame
GUNNAR Cruz Kids Large Spider-Man Edition is designed by the manufacturer for ages 8–12. Classic Spider-Man Edition
The CRU-11813 configuration brings classic Spider-Man artwork to the Cruz Kids Large frame. It uses Amber lenses in a non-prescription specification. The character design gives this version a clear visual identity, while the frame measurements help distinguish it from larger Cruz editions made for older users and from other Spider-Man models in the range.
Designed for Ages Eight to Twelve
GUNNAR identifies this edition for ages 8–12. The frame is 121 mm wide, with a 125 mm temple measurement and a 14 mm nose measurement. Compare these figures with a known pair rather than relying on the age guide alone, especially when choosing between this Kids Large model and a different Cruz frame.
Flexible Hingeless Nylon Design
The nylon frame uses a hingeless design that GUNNAR describes as highly flexible. This construction is a distinctive feature of the Kids Large edition and differs from the folding hinge arrangement on many adult frames. Its published weight is 16.3 g without packaging, giving you another practical comparison point alongside the dimensions and material.
A Curved Nose Rest
The frame incorporates a curved nose rest for weight distribution across the bridge. This is a fixed part of the design, with no separate adjustable nose pads listed for this model. The curved shape, narrow front dimensions and flexible temples are all useful details to compare with glasses that already fit the intended user well.
Smudge-Resistant Amber Lenses
Each lens measures 49 mm wide and 29 mm high, with a smudge-resistant coating specified by the manufacturer. The Amber tint is part of this exact configuration. These lens dimensions also help explain the smaller front proportions of Kids Large when it is compared with the wider lenses used in the Cruz models for older users.
Protective Case with Clip
A protective glasses case with a clip and a microfiber cleaning cloth are included. The case provides a dedicated storage place for the frame between sessions or when carrying it with other accessories. Keep the cloth with the case so both items are available whenever the glasses are taken from a study desk to another location.
