Full HD detail with a faster 144Hz refresh

The 1920 × 1080 IPS panel refreshes at up to 144Hz, making movement easier to follow than on a standard 60Hz screen when a game delivers enough frames. Its anti-glare surface and 300-nit rated brightness suit indoor gaming and study. The narrow bezel keeps the screen area prominent, while the 62.5% sRGB specification is clearly stated for buyers who also plan to edit photos or create content.

Processing power for play and productivity

The Core 7 240H combines 10 cores and 16 threads with boost speeds up to 5.2GHz. It gives games and productivity software room to work alongside chat, browser tabs and background tasks. The dedicated RTX 5050 carries 8GB GDDR7 video memory, separate from the laptop's system RAM.

Memory and storage

HP specifies one 16GB DDR5-5600 memory module and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD. The chassis lists two M.2 SSD expansion slots, offering a route to additional storage after checking drive compatibility and installation requirements. Plan upgrades around this exact configuration rather than assuming every Victus uses the same components.

Designed for everyday use

A full-size backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad makes the Victus useful for work as well as games. The 720p camera includes temporal noise reduction and dual microphones for calls. Dual speakers, HP Audio Boost and DTS:X Ultra handle everyday audio, while the 70Wh battery and 2.29kg chassis support moving between rooms or desks.

Connect your complete setup

Connect a mouse and keyboard to the two 5Gbps USB-A ports, attach a monitor through HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4a over USB-C, and use Gigabit Ethernet when you want a wired network connection. The USB-C port also supports Power Delivery 3.1 and HP Sleep and Charge. Realtek Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 provide wireless connectivity, while a combined audio jack works with compatible headsets.

Which configuration is this?

Choose D15F1EA for the Performance Blue 15-fa2087ne or D15F2EA for the Mica Silver 15-fa2088ne. Both have Core 7 240H, RTX 5050 8GB, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. The supplied configuration includes licensed Windows 11 Pro.

Can I upgrade the memory or SSD?

The supplied memory is 1 × 16GB DDR5-5600 and HP lists two M.2 SSD slots. Confirm compatible parts and installation with a qualified technician before upgrading; a maximum RAM capacity is not specified here.

What screen does this model have?

Both colours have the same 15.6-inch 1920 × 1080 IPS display, 144Hz refresh rate, 300-nit brightness and 62.5% sRGB coverage. It has an anti-glare finish.

What should I know about size and power?

The laptop measures 357.9 × 255 × 23.5mm and weighs 2.29kg. It includes a 150W AC adapter and a 70Wh battery. Use the supplied adapter for gaming; battery runtime varies with workload and settings.
