Match the Two Ends to the Power Path

The PW168-8PV2 has three 8-pin PCIe connectors on its female input side and a 12+4-pin male connection on the GPU side. Match both ends with the existing power-cable arrangement and graphics card. This is an extension assembly used with the correct PSU cables, rather than a direct replacement for proprietary modular PSU leads.

Eight Light Guides and 108 LEDs

Eight lighting guides carry a total of 108 addressable LEDs along the visible cable assembly. The light-guide section creates a broad illuminated run beside the graphics card, with lighting selected through a compatible motherboard connection or the supported separate STRIMER controller arrangement.

16 AWG Cable Construction

The electrical cable uses 16 AWG conductors and a silicone/TPE construction. Its listed cable length is 335 mm; the complete illuminated assembly is separately specified as 381 mm long. Use the cable length for routing plans, leaving room for the plugs and the required installation path around the card.

Motherboard ARGB Control Included

A three-pin motherboard ARGB adapter is included for the supported direct lighting connection. Use the matching five-volt addressable-lighting interface and the motherboard’s supported controls. LIAN LI advises lowering brightness below fifty percent when using static white; follow the model’s complete instructions for that operating condition.

Optional L-Connect 3 Effects

A compatible STRIMER L-Connect 3 controller is selected separately for the supported software-controlled effects. That controller is supplied with the STRIMER PLUS V2 24-pin package or sold separately. The included motherboard adapter already provides a control path, so the separate controller is an optional configuration choice.
