A 24-Pin Motherboard Power Extension
The PW24-PV2 is the motherboard 24-pin extension in the Strimer Plus V2 family. It connects to the appropriate existing motherboard power lead to add the illuminated section inside the case. Use it for the specified motherboard connection, following the cable and controller instructions for the complete installation.
120 Addressable LEDs
A total of 120 LEDs illuminate the light-guide arrangement along the extension. Configure supported movement and colour effects to coordinate the motherboard power route with the rest of the build. The lighting section sits above the cable arrangement, making the power connection part of the visible case presentation.
Controller Included for L-Connect 3
This 24-pin version includes the Strimer Plus V2 controller for L-Connect 3. Connect the controller using its specified power and communication leads, then configure the supported lighting effects. Additional Strimer products require the correct matching connections and controller arrangement for their own cable type.
A Slimmer Illuminated Cable Layout
The silicone and TPE construction forms an illuminated assembly measuring 267 × 56.6 × 8 mm, with a 220 mm cable length. The 8 mm-thick arrangement provides flexibility for the route toward the motherboard connector. Leave space for the complete light-guide width and the bend near the socket.
18 AWG Cable Construction
The extension uses 18 AWG conductors, with the LED lighting rated for 9 W. Keep the power connection and controller wiring arranged according to their separate functions. Check that each plug is fully seated before securing the cable, and route the assembly clear of fan blades or sharp panel edges.
