Does the Z790 Steel Legend DDR5 work with DDR4 memory?

No. The Z790 Steel Legend DDR5 takes DDR5 memory only, and DDR4 modules will not fit its slots. Older boards like the Z590 Taichi and X570 Steel Legend WiFi AX use DDR4, so choose memory that matches your board.
