EVO 4, iD4 MKII or iD14 MKII: which Audient interface do I need?
EVO 4 suits two microphones, or a mic and an instrument, with Smartgain setting levels automatically. iD4 MKII has one console mic preamp and a JFET instrument input for a single voice plus guitar. iD14 MKII adds a second console preamp, four line outputs and ADAT expansion for a growing studio.
Can I record a two-person podcast with an Audient interface?
Yes, with the EVO 4 or the iD14 MKII, which each have two mic preamps. The iD4 MKII has one mic preamp, so it is the better fit for a single host.
What is loopback and which Audient interfaces have it?
Loopback sends your computer audio, such as game sound or a call, into your recording or stream alongside your microphone. The iD4 MKII and EVO 4 both include it, which makes them handy for streaming and online calls.
