The Chassis Design
A contoured steel chassis and integrated Aurora RGB strips outline the 5000T LX, with removable mesh front and roof panels for the supported airflow arrangement. The case measures 530 L × 251 W × 560 H mm around a visible mid-tower system. Consider its complete exterior dimensions alongside the available desk or floor space, leaving access for the rear cables and the panels used during assembly.
Included Cooling and Lighting
Three LX120 RGB fans and an iCUE LINK System Hub are included. The Aurora light strips form part of the case lighting package, with the supported components managed through the matching LINK ecosystem rather than an older LL120 and Commander CORE XT bundle. Connect fan power and any separate lighting leads to their specified interfaces. Choose additional cooling around the installed components and the positions that remain available.
Radiator and Fan Positions
Front and top radiator options reach 360 or 280 mm, with 360 or 240 mm at the side and 120 mm at the rear. The chassis supports up to ten 120 mm fans or four 140 mm fans in the documented layouts. Plan one compatible assembly for each mounting position, accounting for the full fan-and-radiator thickness around memory, motherboard connections and adjacent cooling hardware.
Motherboard and Component Fit
Supported formats include E-ATX up to 305 × 277 mm, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. GPU clearance is 450 mm, CPU-cooler clearance is 170 mm and PSU clearance is 250 mm. Reverse-connector motherboard compatibility is part of this LX chassis design. Compare complete component dimensions, including protruding plugs and graphics power cables, before securing the final mounting positions. The listed clearances describe individual limits rather than every possible combined installation.
Storage, Access and Routing
The RapidRoute arrangement provides 46 mm of routing depth behind the motherboard area. Seven horizontal or three vertical graphics-slot positions offer different mounting choices; a suitable graphics riser is a separate component rather than a promised part of the supplied package. Position the selected drives together with the power and data leads, keeping the cooling paths clear. Leave enough slack at the connectors to remove the relevant panels for maintenance.
