Three-Axis Stabilization and Phone Fit

The seventh-generation stabilization system supports compatible phones weighing 170–300 g, with a listed width range of 67–84 mm and thickness range of 6.9–10 mm. Match the phone to these physical limits and DJI’s compatibility guidance, then secure it in the magnetic clamp and check the balance before filming handheld movement.

Foldable Body and Built-In Tripod

The 7P weighs approximately 368 g including the built-in tripod, magnetic clamp and Multifunctional Module. Its folded dimensions are 190 × 95 × 46 mm. The integrated tripod gives you a supporting option for suitable stationary shots while keeping the stabilizer compact when packed away.

Extension Rod and Framing

A built-in extension rod reaches up to 215 mm, giving you more options for selfies, group compositions and changes in camera angle. Use the rod together with the gimbal controls, then check the phone view before recording. The built-in tripod offers another way to arrange framing when a suitable stable surface is available.

Included Tracking, Audio and Fill Light

The included Multifunctional Module supports subject tracking without requiring DJI Mimo for the camera view, alongside compatible audio reception and a fill light. The published fill-light range is 2500–6000 K, with 40 lux measured at 0.6 m. Configure the supported phone camera or streaming app and any compatible microphone equipment around the module’s available functions.

Physical Controls and Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.3 connects the gimbal for supported wireless functions, and a USB-C port handles charging. A quarter-inch screw mounting point is listed at the base, adding an attachment option for suitable supporting equipment. Configure the available controls and phone connection together, then choose the gimbal movement and framing around the activity you are recording.
