An interface, microphone and headphones together

The Studio pack includes the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen, a CM25 MkIII microphone with pop filter, SH-450 closed-back headphones, a 3m XLR cable and USB-A to USB-C cable. Connect the microphone, enable 48V phantom power and monitor through the supplied headphones.

Two preamps for flexible sessions

Two rear XLR inputs provide microphone connections with 69 dB of gain range. The front 6.35 mm sockets accept line or instrument signals. Each front jack replaces the corresponding microphone input, so the interface records two physical input channels at once, rather than four.

Let the interface help manage levels

Auto Gain sets an input level after listening to your performance. Clip Safe adjusts gain when a signal approaches clipping. Air offers Presence and Presence with Harmonic Drive for different tonal characters, while the Gain Halos make input levels visible at a glance.

Capture and monitor your sound

Record at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, use direct monitoring for your live inputs, and capture computer audio with loopback. Independent monitor and headphone controls make listening levels easy to adjust. The included cardioid microphone suits voice and acoustic instruments; the closed-back headphones help keep playback out of the microphone.

Plan the Session Around the Actual Inputs

Two microphone preamps and two physical recording channels are available. The XLR and front line/instrument sockets share those two channels; four sockets do not mean four simultaneous analogue inputs. Assign the live sources before recording and choose the appropriate microphone, instrument or line setting for the connection you use.

Supply the Host Power the Interface Needs

The power arrangement is USB bus power, 900 mA. Use the specified cable and adequate host or external power. Check a mobile setup separately, as a matching USB connector does not guarantee the connected device supplies the required current.

Complete Your Workspace

Explore microphones, studio headphones, Compare audio interfaces and mixers for your setup. Suggested products are sold separately. Check the number of analogue recording channels, microphone preamps, digital expansion, MIDI, mobile support and supplied accessories when comparing interfaces. This Studio pack already includes its CM25 MkIII microphone and SH-450 headphones. The optional PSA1+ arm uses the supplied thread adapter with the microphone clip; check total load and desk fit. Beyerdynamic and Audio-Technica headphones provide listening alternatives, and Elgato controls complement a supported computer workflow. iD14 MKII desktop and ADAT functions do not include iD4 MKII’s supported iOS use. Mobile setups may require an adapter and external power. Choose the actual cables and recording software for the selected host.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many physical recording channels does it provide?

Which USB format and power should I plan for?

USB-C is the stated connection family. USB bus power, 900 mA. Check the required cable, host power and current driver support.

Which microphone connection should I use?

Connect an analogue XLR microphone to the supported microphone input. Use switchable 48 V phantom power only for a microphone or active accessory that requires it. USB microphones connect to their supported host separately.

Which recording format is supported?

Up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. Select a compatible sample rate and bit depth in the application; the stated maximum does not replace input-gain setup or guarantee an unclippable recording.

What is included in this Studio pack?

The Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen interface, CM25 MkIII condenser microphone with pop filter, SH-450 closed-back headphones, 3 m XLR cable and USB-A to USB-C cable. The CM25 uses 48 V phantom power.
