The essentials in one Studio pack

Start with the Scarlett Solo 4th Gen interface, CM25 MkIII microphone with pop filter, SH-450 closed-back headphones, 3m XLR cable and USB-A to USB-C cable. The included microphone uses the interface's 48V phantom power; connect the headphones for monitoring.

Record a vocal and instrument together

Solo gives you one rear XLR microphone input and one front 6.35 mm line or instrument input. Record a vocal alongside guitar or another line-level source, using separate input gain controls. The microphone preamp provides a 57 dB gain range.

Choose your vocal character

Air includes Presence and Presence with Harmonic Drive, letting you add brightness or harmonic colour while recording. Gain Halos help you set levels manually. This Solo model does not include the Auto Gain and Clip Safe functions found on the 2i2 4th Gen.

Listen and capture computer playback

Direct monitoring lets you hear live inputs without software monitoring delay. Separate headphone and main-output controls set your listening levels, while loopback adds computer audio to your recording workflow. The interface supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz through a USB 2.0 connection with a USB-C connector.

Plan the Session Around the Actual Inputs

One microphone input and one separate line/instrument input provide two analogue recording channels. This Solo model does not record two XLR microphones at the same time. Assign the live sources before recording and choose the appropriate microphone, instrument or line setting for the connection you use.

Supply the Host Power the Interface Needs

The power arrangement is USB bus power, 900 mA. Use the specified cable and adequate host or external power. Check a mobile setup separately, as a matching USB connector does not guarantee the connected device supplies the required current.

Complete Your Workspace

Explore microphones, studio headphones, Compare audio interfaces and mixers for your setup. Suggested products are sold separately. Check the number of analogue recording channels, microphone preamps, digital expansion, MIDI, mobile support and supplied accessories when comparing interfaces. This Studio pack already includes its CM25 MkIII microphone and SH-450 headphones. The optional PSA1+ arm uses the supplied thread adapter with the microphone clip; check total load and desk fit. Beyerdynamic and Audio-Technica headphones provide listening alternatives, and Elgato controls complement a supported computer workflow. iD14 MKII desktop and ADAT functions do not include iD4 MKII’s supported iOS use. Mobile setups may require an adapter and external power. Choose the actual cables and recording software for the selected host.
