The K10 Max uses 108 keys with a full number pad, navigation block and function row for numeric entry and everyday shortcuts. This version uses an ANSI English layout. The function and navigation controls remain accessible for everyday shortcuts and desktop work. The OSA-profile double-shot PBT construction is designed to retain its legends through extended use. Sculpted keycaps give each row a distinct profile, while the linear switches provide a smooth keypress without a tactile bump.

Linear switches and hot-swap flexibility

Keychron Super Red switches deliver a linear keypress. The hot-swappable PCB accepts compatible 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches, so supported switches can be replaced without soldering. Switch compatibility remains specific to the mechanical socket design.

Construction and sound

The keyboard combines a steel plate and layered sound-absorbing foam with IXPE, PET and EPDM layers that help control internal resonance. Adjustable feet provide a choice of typing angles. The result is a practical foundation for long typing sessions and regular gaming.

Lighting and daily usability

South-facing RGB lighting illuminates the keyboard around the keycaps. The PBT keycaps are non-shine-through, so lighting appears around the keys rather than through the legends. N-key rollover supports simultaneous key input. The rechargeable battery supports up to 190 hours with lighting off; actual endurance depends on settings and use.

Customise the keyboard around the way you use it

QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher web app let you remap keys, set up macros and adjust supported keyboard settings. Connect by USB cable when using Launcher in a supported browser such as Chrome, Edge or Opera. Mac and Windows layouts are supported with a physical system switch and dedicated keycaps, so the keyboard can move between operating systems without forcing the same shortcut arrangement on both. Bluetooth can pair with up to three devices, while the dedicated 2.4 GHz receiver offers a separate low-latency connection for a desktop or laptop.

Which switches does this version include?

This version is supplied with Keychron Super Red linear switches. It is a conventional mechanical keyboard and does not use Hall Effect magnetic switches.

Can I replace the switches?

Yes. Its hot-swappable sockets support compatible 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches. Use compatible mechanical switches and remove them carefully with a switch puller.

How does it connect to my devices?

It supports USB-C wired, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth. Wired and 2.4 GHz modes operate at 1000 Hz; Bluetooth operates at 90 Hz. Bluetooth pairing supports up to three devices.

Can I remap keys and use it on Mac and Windows?

Yes. QMK and Keychron Launcher support key remapping and macros. Use a wired connection for Launcher. The keyboard supports macOS, Windows and Linux, with a system switch and Mac/Windows keycap support.
