A Second-Generation Thermal Interface
NT-H2 uses a refined mixture of metal-oxide micro-particles developed from Noctua’s NT-H1 formulation. It fills the interface between a processor contact surface and the cooler base. The complete cooler installation, contact pressure and system conditions still determine operating temperatures; the paste is one part of that thermal path.
The 3.5-Gram Package

Cleaning Wipes Included

Noctua specifies that NT-H2 does not require a break-in or burn-in process. Its spreading properties allow application according to the installation instructions without manually spreading the paste first. Non-Conductive and Non-Corroding
The formulation is not electrically conductive and is non-corroding. Noctua supports use with copper or aluminium CPU-cooler bases, including nickel-plated surfaces. Keep the application on the intended contact surface and follow the hardware instructions rather than treating the paste as an adhesive or a substitute for a correctly seated cooler.
