Six Combs for Three Cable Layouts

The kit includes two combs for a twenty-four-pin motherboard cable, two for a four-plus-four-pin CPU cable and two for a six-plus-two-pin GPU cable. These combs organise the visible individual cable runs while adding lighting. Match the actual cable layout before fitting a comb to the build.

Designed Around 3 mm Braided Cables

NZXT specifies compatibility with braided PSU cables using individual conductors approximately three millimetres in diameter. This is a physical cable-comb fit requirement. Check the sleeved cable construction and conductor arrangement, rather than assuming that a flat ribbon PSU lead or every aftermarket cable set fits the accessory.

Eighteen Addressable RGB LEDs

The accessory kit uses eighteen addressable RGB LEDs across its comb arrangement. The lighting adds a visible detail around the motherboard, CPU and GPU cable areas, complementing a build with a windowed case. The supported controller and software determine the available effects and how the accessory is coordinated with other lighting.

Use a Compatible NZXT Controller

The HUE 2 accessory works through an appropriate NZXT RGB lighting connection and controller. The controller is a separate requirement for this accessory kit. Follow the controller and accessory connection guide, including its channel limits, instead of connecting the proprietary NZXT lighting plug to an unrelated motherboard RGB header.

Configure Lighting in NZXT CAM

Use the supported NZXT CAM setup to configure the connected accessory and available lighting effects. The lighting-control connection is separate from the PSU cable’s electrical function. Fit the combs and route the lighting leads so they do not pull on the main power connectors or obstruct access to the component cables.
