For 2.5-Inch and 3.5-Inch SATA Drives
The enclosure accepts compatible 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA disks, giving you one housing format for these two common internal-drive sizes. Check the interface and physical fit of the drive you intend to install before setting up the enclosure. The drive you choose determines the capacity and much of the resulting storage performance.
USB 3.0 Data Connection
USB 3.0 provides the external data link, with an interface transfer rate of up to 625 MB/s. This is the connection’s maximum rate; actual transfers depend on the installed drive and the connected computer. Use an appropriate USB connection when moving large folders, backups or other files between the drive and your system.
Open the Enclosure Without Tools
A push-button opening system lets you disassemble the enclosure and change the installed disk without a tool-based opening procedure. This is useful when preparing a drive for external use or swapping a compatible disk in a workspace. Follow the installation instructions and handle the drive carefully while fitting it inside the tray.
Aluminum Shell and ABS Tray
