Rival 3 Wired: light and ready to play
The 77 g wired model uses a TrueMove Core optical sensor with 200–8,500 CPI, 300 IPS tracking on QcK surfaces and a 1000 Hz polling rate. Its 1.8 m USB cable provides continuous power, while three independent RGB zones and onboard settings let you personalise the mouse.
Rival 3 Wireless: two ways to connect
The Wireless model combines 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 with a TrueMove Air sensor supporting 100–18,000 CPI. Use one AAA battery for a 96 g setup or two for 106 g and longer battery life. High Efficiency Mode can deliver 400+ hours by disabling lighting and reducing polling to 125 Hz; actual life varies with use.
Six Buttons on the Mouse
The two listed models share a six-button arrangement. Choose bindings that suit the games and applications you use, then practise the positions alongside your preferred sensitivity settings and available desk space.
Wired Settings Kept with the Wired Model
The wired configuration lists onboard storage for polling rate, key bindings and five CPI settings. Keep that feature reference with the wired version instead of assuming every model uses the same stored settings.
Battery Choices on the Wireless Model
The wireless version uses one or two AAA batteries. Choose between the listed one-battery weight and the longer-life two-battery arrangement; the wired model receives power through its USB cable.
Different Sensors for Different Versions
TrueMove Core belongs to the wired model, while TrueMove Air belongs to the wireless model. Compare their own sensitivity ranges and connection modes when selecting the version that fits your setup.
