Wooting 80HE

Wooting 80HE combines Hall-effect analog switches, Rapid Trigger and true 8 kHz polling in an 80% layout. This PCR Black configuration uses a recycled-plastic case, a polycarbonate switch plate and a silicone gasket mount. Wootility provides per-key configuration, lighting controls and onboard profiles, letting you arrange the keyboard’s behavior around your games and everyday applications. Analog Hall-Effect Input

Lekker L60 V2 switches use Hall-effect sensing to track how far a key is pressed. This provides the input foundation for adjustable actuation and other analog features. The switches use a linear design, with the manufacturer listing a 40–60 cN spring-weight range. Configure the key behavior in Wootility rather than relying on a single fixed actuation point.

Rapid Trigger and Per-Key Actuation

Rapid Trigger changes activation and reset behavior according to key movement. Adjustable actuation lets you choose the depth that registers an input, with the manufacturer listing settings from 0.1 mm through 4 mm. Tune individual keys for different tasks, then test the selected values in the games and applications you regularly use before saving the configuration.

True 8 kHz Polling

The 80HE supports true 8 kHz polling with synchronized key scanning at the same rate. Wooting identifies Tachyon mode in Wootility as the setting for this performance configuration. An LED bar with ten segments provides a configurable visual element for profiles and supported feature states, alongside the keyboard’s individual key lighting options.

Gasket-Mounted Sound and Feel

The PCR ABS case is paired with a polycarbonate switch plate, silicone gasket mount and screw-in stabilizers. These construction choices distinguish the standard 80HE from the FR4-plate TenZ edition. Wired Setup in an 80% Footprint

The keyboard measures 346 × 142 mm and connects through a detachable 2 m USB-C to USB-C cable, with a USB-C-to-A adapter included. The 80% layout retains dedicated navigation and function areas while reducing width compared with a full-size board.
