SHURE VOICE

A broadcast microphone with gain on board

The Shure SM7dB combines a dynamic cardioid microphone with an integrated preamp. Choose the appropriate gain mode for your voice and recording distance, then set the mixer input level around your normal speaking volume.

Enable the GoXLR microphone input’s 48V phantom power when using the SM7dB preamp. The microphone can also operate in bypass mode; no separate inline microphone booster is included or required for its active mode.

Control the sound and the performance

The full-size GoXLR gives this setup physical faders together with its sampler and voice-effects controls. Balance your assigned Windows audio sources and place the controls you use during a broadcast directly beside your keyboard.

This is the full-size mixer, not GoXLR Mini. Use the official Windows application to configure audio routing and your stream mix before relying on the setup during a live session.

Open sound, a dedicated microphone

DT 900 PRO X headphones give you a wired, open-back listening setup with a separate Shure microphone for voice. Their over-ear design and detachable cable suit a desk where audio is part of a longer daily workflow.

Open-back earcups favour a quieter space and let sound escape. They are a different choice from closed-back monitoring headphones; keep listening volume controlled to limit pickup by a nearby microphone.

RODE PSA1+

Position the microphone around your workspace

The black PSA1+ supports the SM7dB and lets you adjust its placement as you settle into your desk. Bring the microphone close for speaking, then move it aside when the workspace needs to change.

Damped springs and cable-management features help keep the arm’s movement controlled. Use the supplied mounting method that suits your desk, and leave cable slack at the microphone and arm joints.

CONNECTED FROM THE START

One XLR cable, already included

The bundle includes one Stagg three-metre XLR cable for the Shure-to-GoXLR microphone connection. Route it along the PSA1+ arm so it can move freely without pulling on either connector.

Connect DT 900 PRO X to the GoXLR headphone output using the headphone cable’s suitable plug. The mixer handles the computer audio connection, so a second audio interface is not part of this configuration.

YOUR STREAMING DESK

A complete five-piece foundation

Use this bundle for commentary, calls, streaming and spoken recordings on a Windows PC. Set gain, headphone level and application routing first, then listen to a test recording before starting a stream.

The included products are the SM7dB, full-size GoXLR, DT 900 PRO X, black PSA1+ and Stagg XLR cable. Your computer, desk, camera and streaming software are supplied separately.

Is this the full-size GoXLR?

Yes. This bundle includes the full-size GoXLR mixer with its sampler and effects controls, not GoXLR Mini.

Does SM7dB need a Cloudlifter?

Its built-in preamp can be used with GoXLR’s 48V phantom power. A separate inline booster is not required for that operating mode.

Which microphone arm is included?

One black RØDE PSA1+ is included, together with the mounting accessories supplied in its box.

Are the DT 900 PRO X headphones closed-back?

No. They are open-back headphones and are best used in a quieter room where sound leakage is acceptable.

Does the bundle work with macOS?

The official GoXLR software is for Windows. Choose the RØDECaster Duo-based AX Studio Signature bundle for a different computer-audio workflow.

Is the cable covered by the discount?

Yes. One Stagg 3m XLR cable is included, and the 10% bundle discount applies to all five components.
