The RØDE PodMic puts a dedicated dynamic microphone in front of your voice. Its cardioid pickup pattern and end-address design suit commentary, conversations and spoken recordings when you position it close and speak into the front grille.

An internal pop filter and internal shock mounting help manage plosives and handling vibration. The integrated swing mount lets you aim the microphone around your normal seated position.

GoXLR Mini brings four physical faders to your desk. Assign your Windows audio sources in the GoXLR app, then balance the sources you use during a session without hunting through separate application volume controls.

Its XLR microphone input handles the PodMic connection, while the headphone output provides the listening path. Set microphone gain and routing before a live session, then save a profile for your usual workflow.

OPEN-BACK LISTENING

A spacious headphone setup for a quieter room

The included DT 990 PRO is the 250-ohm version, paired here with open-back earcups and over-ear pads. It gives this bundle a dedicated wired headphone path alongside the separate microphone.

Choose a quieter room for this setup: open-back headphones let outside sound in and allow sound to escape. Listening level depends on your source material, settings and headphone-output headroom.

POSITION YOUR VOICE

Bring the PodMic to you

RØDE PSA1 moves the microphone off the desktop and into speaking position. Adjust the arm around your monitor and keyboard so you can keep a consistent distance from the microphone during a longer session.

Its internal-spring design supports smooth positioning. The included desk clamp and threaded desk insert provide mounting options; check that your desk edge or mounting surface suits the chosen method.

CABLE INCLUDED

The XLR connection is part of the bundle

One Stagg three-metre XLR microphone cable is included. Connect its female end to the PodMic and its male end to the GoXLR Mini microphone input, with enough slack for the boom arm to move.

This is the XLR-only PodMic model. The microphone reaches your computer through GoXLR Mini; it is not a USB microphone that plugs directly into a computer on its own.

Set up once, then build your routine

Install the GoXLR Windows app, connect the mixer to your PC and select the appropriate devices in your game, chat and streaming software. Connect the headphones to the mixer and check your microphone while speaking normally.

Keep headphone volume sensible and check what your audience hears before going live. This bundle contains the five listed products; your computer, desk and streaming software are supplied separately.

Exactly what is included?

Is this the PodMic USB?

No. This bundle contains the XLR-only RØDE PodMic. GoXLR Mini provides its connection to the computer.

Which DT 990 PRO version is included?

The 250-ohm DT 990 PRO is included. It is not the 80-ohm model or the DT 990 PRO X.

Can I use this GoXLR setup on a Mac?

The official GoXLR application supports Windows; TC-Helicon does not provide official macOS support for GoXLR Mini.

Is the microphone arm included?

Yes. This bundle includes the original RØDE PSA1 arm, not the PSA1+.
