4 heatpipes transfer heat from the processor contact area into the fin assembly. Direct Contact heatpipes transfer heat into the aluminium fin stack. The fan moves air through those fins as part of the case airflow path. Arrange the cooler and the surrounding case fans so the heated air has a clear route out of the system.

A Fan Matched to the Heatsink

one 120 mm SickleFlow PWM fan supplies the airflow across the cooling surfaces. The asymmetrical tower design provides additional room around the memory area. Connect its fan-speed lead to an appropriate CPU-fan header and configure the response for the workload. Keep the fan blades clear of cables and use the correct mounting clips or screws for the installed fan arrangement.

Use these dimensions when planning the motherboard and case arrangement, with additional space for the power leads and fan connections. The four-pin PWM fan connection lets a compatible motherboard adjust the fan response as processor cooling demand changes. Configure the CPU-fan curve in the motherboard’s controls, then check the installed system under its usual workload. Airflow and operating noise depend on fan speed and the surrounding case ventilation.

Mounting for the Intended Platform

Intel LGA 1700/1200/115x and AMD AM4 are supported with the corresponding hardware. AM5 support requires the appropriate mounting kit; it may be absent from earlier production boxes. Match the processor socket, motherboard and mounting kit together before fitting the heatsink. Follow the model’s tightening sequence so the contact surface sits evenly on the processor, and apply or retain thermal compound according to the installation guidance for the actual unit.
