CORE ULTRA 9 AND GEFORCE RTX
Power for demanding games and creative work
The Core Ultra 9 285HX brings 24 processor cores and speeds up to 5.5GHz. It provides processing capacity for editing, rendering and running several applications alongside your main task.
The RTX 5080 Laptop GPU adds 16GB of dedicated graphics memory. Supported games can use NVIDIA DLSS, Multi Frame Generation, ray tracing and Reflex, while compatible creative software can benefit from NVIDIA Studio tools and GPU acceleration.
QHD+ IPS-LEVEL / 240HZ
A larger view of the action
This version uses an 18-inch IPS-level panel with a 2560 × 1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It combines detailed visuals with the ability to show fast movement smoothly when your game delivers enough frames.
The 16:10 aspect ratio provides extra vertical room for documents, timelines and tool panels. Its 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage also makes the screen useful for colourful games, films and creative projects.
MEMORY AND STORAGE
Keep your everyday tools within reach
The installed 32GB DDR5 memory gives you room to keep your game, browser, voice chat and supporting applications open together. The 1TB NVMe SSD provides storage for Windows, software and your current games or projects.
Two memory slots and two M.2 storage slots provide options for future changes. The supplied RAM is arranged as two 16GB modules, so a memory upgrade involves replacing the installed modules.
COOLER BOOST 5
Cooling for longer sessions
Dual fans and seven heat pipes move heat away from the internal hardware. MSI Center provides access to performance settings so you can choose how the laptop behaves for different tasks.
Use a firm surface and leave space around the ventilation openings. For demanding games and sustained workloads, connect the main AC adapter and select an appropriate performance mode.
STEELSERIES KEYBOARD AND MYSTIC LIGHT
Choose the lighting for every key
The SteelSeries keyboard supports per-key RGB lighting. Highlight movement keys, group frequently used shortcuts by colour or choose one consistent look across the keyboard.
The front Mystic Light matrix light bar extends the lighting across the chassis. MSI Center and SteelSeries GG provide controls for supported lighting effects and keyboard customization.
DUAL THUNDERBOLT 5
Connect your full desk setup
Two Thunderbolt 5 ports provide USB-C connections for compatible docks, displays and storage. HDMI 2.1, three USB-A ports, a full-size SD card reader and a headset jack cover other everyday accessories.
Choose Wi-Fi 7 for wireless networking or use the 2.5Gb Ethernet connection at your desk. The mix of ports makes it practical to keep a mouse, headset and external screen connected together.
AUDIO AND EVERYDAY USE
From gaming sessions to calls and films
The six-speaker Dynaudio system gives you a built-in option for music, films and game audio. A Full HD IR webcam supports video calls, with a physical shutter to cover the camera when it is not in use.
The 18-inch chassis weighs approximately 3.6kg. When taking it between locations, choose a bag with enough space for the laptop and its power adapter.
