RØDE NT-USB: Cardioid Condenser Capture

The original RØDE NT-USB brings a side-address condenser capsule and direct USB recording to a desktop setup. It suits spoken voice, vocals and instruments when you want a microphone, headphone monitoring and simple level controls in one unit.

A supplied pop filter and tripod desk stand help you start recording without assembling an XLR signal chain. This is the original 16-bit/48kHz NT-USB; the NT-USB+ is a different model.

Cardioid Condenser Capture

Aim the front of the microphone towards your voice or instrument. The directional pickup helps focus the recording, while careful positioning and a quiet space still matter.

Direct USB Recording

Connect the microphone to a compatible computer and select it as the input in your recording or streaming application. A separate XLR audio interface is unnecessary.
