ARTISAN NINJA FX HIEN SOFT XL

Start quickly. Feel each adjustment.

Move from a broad swipe to a small correction on a surface with a clear, tactile character. The ARTISAN HIEN SOFT XL pairs a quick initial glide with a pronounced cloth texture and a moderately soft base. Choose Wine Red or Navy Blue in the same generous XL format.

FAST INITIAL MOVEMENT

A textured surface for active aim

HIEN sits in ARTISAN's medium-speed group. Its hardened, rough polyester weave lets movement begin readily while giving noticeable feedback as the mouse travels. It suits players who want a more immediate glide than a heavily controlled cloth pad, with texture they can feel during changes of direction.

SOFT BASE

Cushioning without choosing XSOFT

SOFT describes the sponge beneath the playing surface. ARTISAN positions it as the versatile middle choice between very soft XSOFT and firm MID. Here, the 4 mm urethane sponge supports the HIEN weave, while a patterned underside helps the pad hold its position on the desk.

XL DESK FIT

Space for wide swipes and controlled resets

The pad is 490 mm wide and 420 mm deep. Before choosing your desk layout, measure the space beside the keyboard and allow room for your usual arm movement. The stitched NINJA FX edge finishes the perimeter without turning the pad into a full-width desk mat.

WINE RED OR NAVY BLUE

Pick the color that fits your setup

Both options use the HIEN surface, SOFT base and XL dimensions. Wine Red adds a warmer accent; Navy Blue gives a darker finish. Select the color in the product options. ARTISAN notes that glide and texture can vary with color, so the shared specification does not promise an identical feel.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

A few useful answers

Does SOFT mean the HIEN surface feels smooth?

No. SOFT refers to the base firmness. HIEN still has a distinctly rough playing surface, so choose it for tactile feedback rather than a silky feel.

How does HIEN compare with ZERO and TYPE-99?

ARTISAN groups HIEN as medium-speed and both ZERO and TYPE-99 as low-speed. HIEN is the more speed-oriented choice of these three; TYPE-99 places the strongest emphasis on stopping.

Is this the same configuration as HIEN XSOFT XL?

The surface family and XL dimensions match, but the base differs. This listing is SOFT; XSOFT is the softer option for players who want more cushioning and stopping emphasis.
