Loosen the side control to reposition the arm, then tighten it to hold your chosen position. Smooth, quiet adjustment makes the DS3 practical for recording and live broadcasting.

Weighted Support Without a Desk Clamp

Place the DS3 on a flat desktop without relying on a desk edge or permanent mounting point. Its metal construction and weighted base support mounted equipment weighing up to 1.5kg.

The black version includes soft-touch silicone padding on and beneath the base to help dampen vibration. The complete stand weighs 2.6kg.

Microphones, Cameras and More

A native 3/8-inch thread and included 1/4-inch and 5/8-inch adaptors accommodate a wide range of microphone mounts, cameras and accessories.

Use it with a compatible microphone such as the RØDE PodMic, or attach another device using a suitable mount. Keep the total mounted load within 1.5kg.

Phone holders, microphone clips and other device-specific mounts may be required and are sold separately. Unused thread adaptors can be stored at the bottom of the arm.

Keep Cables Close to the Arm

Two included cable clips secure your cable along the back of the arm. This keeps XLR or USB leads organised around your recording position.

Simple Desktop Setup

1. Align the arm with the locating pins and screw hole on the baseplate.
2. Secure the arm using the included D-ring screw from underneath the base.
3. Attach your device using the appropriate thread, position the arm and fit the cable clips.

What is the maximum load capacity of the RØDE DS3?
