AUDIO CABLES AT AX
Clean signal, end to end.
Klotz, Stagg and Monoprice XLR, TRS and TRRS cables, MIDI leads and adapters in the lengths a desk or studio actually needs.
XLR for mics, TRS for balanced line signals between interface and monitors, TRRS for phones and cameras, MIDI for controllers. Balanced cables reject hum on longer runs; keep the run as short as the desk allows.

PRO AUDIO CABLES AND ADAPTERS FAQ
Before you buy.
Straight answers to the questions we hear most about pro audio cables and adapters.
Which cable do I need for an XLR microphone?
An XLR microphone connects with a male-to-female XLR cable into an audio interface, mixer or streaming console. XLR is balanced, so it rejects noise well over longer runs, and a 3m cable such as the Klotz Greyhound or Stagg XLR to XLR covers most desk setups.
What is the difference between TRS and TRRS 3.5mm cables?
TRS has three contacts and carries stereo audio for headphones, speakers and line connections. TRRS adds a fourth contact for a microphone, as used by headsets and phones. Choose the Monoprice Onyx TRS cable for stereo AUX, or the Monoprice Onyx TRRS when the microphone signal also needs to pass through.
How do I fix humming or buzzing from my speakers?
A steady hum often comes from a ground loop, when connected devices are grounded through different paths. A ground loop isolator such as the BESIGN Ground Loop Noise Isolator on the 3.5mm line usually removes it, and plugging all audio gear into the same power strip also helps.
Can I plug 3.5mm headphones into a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) jack?
Yes, with an adapter. A 3.5mm to 1/4 inch adapter like the RODE HJA4 lets headphones with a small plug connect to audio interfaces, mixers and amps with a 6.35mm output. Use a stereo TRS adapter for headphones so both sides play correctly.
