Reduce handling and breath noise

Internal pneumatic shock mounting limits vibration from handling. The spherical grille and built-in filter help reduce wind and vocal plosives. Use a comfortable grip below the grille and keep the microphone position consistent. The internal shock system helps control mechanical noise, while sensible technique supports a clearer vocal recording.

Ready for regular use

A metal body and steel mesh grille withstand the demands of transport and live performance. Use it handheld or fit the included clip to a suitable stand. The included swivel adapter supports stand mounting when the performer needs both hands free. Connect to your mixer or interface

The three-pin XLR output connects to a microphone preamp. For recording at a computer, pair it with an audio interface. The LCE version keeps the body free of an on/off switch. The XLR connector carries an analogue microphone signal. Use an XLR-to-XLR microphone cable for the normal mixer or interface connection and set gain while the performer delivers the loudest expected passage.

Choose the Correct SM58 Configuration

The SM58-LCE has no on-off switch on its handle. Control its level or mute state at the connected mixer, preamp or interface. The SM58 SE is a separate switched configuration; choose the version that suits how the performer and sound operator work.

Does this SM58 have an on-off switch?

No. This is the SM58-LCE, with a switchless handle. Control muting through the connected audio equipment.

Can I connect it straight to a computer USB port?

Use an audio interface or mixer with an XLR microphone input and a computer connection. This microphone sends an analogue XLR signal and has no built-in USB interface.

Does it need phantom power?

The moving-coil dynamic microphone does not require phantom power for its capsule. Set up the connected microphone input for the equipment in the signal path.

What is included?

An A25D swivel stand adapter and carrying/storage bag are listed. The supporting stand, recording interface and XLR cable are separate choices.

How do I reduce unwanted handling or breath noise?

Use the body below the grille, keep a consistent distance and avoid obstructing the grille. The internal pneumatic shock system and built-in spherical filter help with handling noise and breath sounds.

Is the supplied connector a line or headphone output?
