GoXLR or GoXLR Mini: which should I choose?
Both give you four faders, separate control of game, chat and music, and a mic preamp for streaming. The full GoXLR adds a built-in sampler, voice effects and more hands-on controls, while the GoXLR Mini keeps the mixing essentials in a smaller, simpler unit.
Which software runs the GoXLR?
The GoXLR and GoXLR Mini are set up in the GoXLR App on Windows, where you assign audio sources to each fader and tune your mic with EQ, compressor and noise gate settings.
Does the GoXLR MIC only work with a GoXLR mixer?
No. The GoXLR MIC is a dynamic XLR microphone, so it pairs naturally with the GoXLR and GoXLR Mini but also works with any standard XLR audio interface or mixer. As a dynamic mic it needs no phantom power and suits voice in untreated rooms.
Can I use a condenser microphone with a GoXLR?
Yes. The GoXLR and GoXLR Mini supply 48V phantom power for condenser mics and also work with dynamic mics. Low-output dynamic mics need the gain set high, and some streamers add an inline booster for extra headroom.
